Job summary

Sodexo in Lowestoft is hiring a Part-time Food Service Assistant to join a friendly team. The role runs 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 2:30pm to 6:30pm, at NR32 1UL. You will deliver welcoming service, assist with food prep and service, and help keep dining areas tidy and hygienic.

No prior experience required; full training provided. A strong team spirit and customer-focused attitude will help you thrive and grow with Sodexo’s benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is a bonus.
• Communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and welcoming service to colleagues, clients, and customers.
• Assist with daily service set up, food prep and serving from our tempting menus.
• Keep service and dining areas clean, tidy, and well-organised.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to keep everything running smoothly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen and storage guidelines.
