Job summary

Bankside Hotel is seeking an Evening Floor Supervisor in London to lead and support the housekeeping team during the evening shift, assigning tasks and ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet high standards.

You will coordinate staff, handle guest concerns promptly, and collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper to maintain smooth operations in a vibrant, culture-rich hotel environment.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and support Room Attendants, House Porters, Linen Porters, Public Area Attendants, and the Evening Maid.
• Allocate rooms and assign deep cleaning tasks to team members.
• Confirm staff attendance at the beginning of each shift and arrange cover for any absences.
• Prepare and distribute room assignment sheets and floor keys.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Department.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to team members as required.
• Ensure timely and positive resolution of guest concerns.
• Handle lost property in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Executive Housekeeper or Deputy Housekeeper.
