Job summary

The University Hospitals Of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join the Estates & Facilities Domestic Team at Glenfield Hospital. You will perform cleaning duties in designated areas, maintain high personal hygiene, and protect patient confidentiality while liaising with colleagues and clinical teams.

In-house training is provided. The role requires working 18:00-22:00, Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on service needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a confidential/hospital environment or similar role is preferred.
• A good standard of the English language both written and oral communication is essential.
• In house training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning duties within designated patient/non-patient areas within the Trust.
• Display a high standard of personal hygiene and presentation.
• Observe confidentiality of patients and employing trusts business at all times.
• Communicate and liaise effectively with Work Colleagues, Managers and with Clinical Teams.
• Work flexibly within the Domestic Team and as part of a team.
