Job summary

Kindred FM is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor in Colchester to lead a cleaning team in an educational building. The role focuses on delivering high standards of cleanliness, safety, and reliability in a fixed schedule within the site.

The supervisor will coach staff, conduct inspections, manage materials, and optimize workflows to ensure efficient service. The position requires ability to commute to Norman Way, Colchester and work hours of 17:00–22:00, Monday to Friday.

Kindred are looking for a hardworking and reliable cleaning supervisor to be based in an educational building located in Colchester.

Pay rate: £14.44 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 17:00 - 22:00

Location: Norman Way, Colchester CO3 3US

As a key leader in our on-site operations, you will:

• Empower and motivate your team through comprehensive training and ongoing support.
• Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations and our rigorous quality standards.
• Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, optimising resources.
• Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks to ensure seamless and efficient workflow.

Minimum requirements:

• Previous cleaning or supervising experience.
• Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed.
• Can reliably commute to the site location.
• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications for tasks such as scheduling and reporting.
• Relevant certifications in cleaning or facilities management.
• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
