Job summary

Compass Group UK&I – ESS is recruiting a full-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams in Defence, Government and Energy sectors. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, day shifts, in UK sites. You’ll help keep environments safe and hygienic and support supplies across multiple facilities.

Key tasks include dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, sanitising touchpoints and restocking cleaning materials. A flexible, hands-on approach and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Enjoys hands-on work in a cleaning environment.
• Experience in a similar cleaning role is welcome but not essential.
• Flexible approach to working hours and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, such as spill clean-up.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and maintain waste routines.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.

We're currently recruiting a full time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 40 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our Ideal Cleaner Will

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
