Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is currently recruiting for a full-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 40 hours per week. You will help deliver on our promise to create the best experiences for clients and customers.

The shift pattern includes consecutive night shifts from Monday to Friday. You will work with our cleaning and facilities teams to maintain hygienic environments and support a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Enjoys a hands-on cleaning role.
• Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.
• Flexible approach to working patterns.

Responsibilities

• Keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Mop spills quickly and efficiently.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

Here's an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

• Mon: Full-time (Nights)
• Tues: Full-time (Nights)
• Weds: Full-time (Nights)
• Thurs: Full-time (Nights)
• Fri: Full-time (Nights)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
