Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a full-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 40 hours per week. If you're a committed Cleaner, this is a role where you can shine and contribute to excellent client service.

Your shift pattern includes nights Monday to Friday. You will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitise touchpoints, support restocking of cleaning supplies, and help keep environments safe and

• Cleaning experience in a similar role is not essential but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
