Job summary

OCS is seeking a Cleaning Operative to ensure safe, clean environments in client workspaces. The role covers tidying, floor and communal area cleaning, and hands-on tasks such as vacuuming and bin disposal.

You may interact with customers in open spaces and must complete Health & Safety records while attending required training. Applicants should have the Right to Work in the UK and a smartphone for Timegate clocking.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK required.
• Smartphone is required to use Timegate Time and Attendance.
• Background in cleaning is advantageous but full training provided.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tidying and cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Hands-on cleaning tasks: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bin empties; washrooms if needed.
• Assist customers with queries in open/public spaces when present.
• Complete Health & Safety records and attend training as required.
