Job summary

OCS is seeking a Cleaning Operative to maintain safe, clean environments in customer workspaces. You will perform general cleaning, including floors, washrooms, and communal areas, with a focus on attention to detail and safety.

The role involves standing, physical tasks, and potential day/night shifts in public areas. A smartphone is required for Timegate; training will be provided and prior cleaning experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• A smartphone is required to use Timegate Time and Attendance system to clock in/out on site.
• Background in cleaning is advantageous, but full training is provided.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Hands-on cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and bin emptying.
• Assist customers if needed in open/public spaces and respond to queries about cleaning or incidents.
