Job summary

Concept Resources is seeking a reliable Cleaner to work at a professional banking premises in Newport, NP20. The role is an evening cleaning position, involving lone working and key-holder responsibilities. Pay is £20.00 per hour, 12 hours per week, Monday to Saturday 5:00pm–7:00pm.

Temporary position until 30 November 2026. Applicants must be dependable, security-conscious and comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

• Adverse credit check required.
• 2 years’ employment history required.
• Employment history must be obtained through GOV.UK Get Proof of Employment History service.
• Valid Right to Work documentation.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Comfortable with lone working.
• Comfortable being a key holder and using an alarm panel.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Able to use a telephone time and attendance clocking system.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning throughout the premises.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning offices and communal areas.
• Cleaning and sanitising washrooms.
• Emptying bins and replacing liners.
• Wiping and sanitising high-touch areas.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Following site security and health & safety procedures.
