Job summary

Roseberry Primary School in County Durham is seeking an enthusiastic cleaner to join our busy team. The role is part-time (10.5 hours per week) with shifts Mon/Tue 3:45–6:00pm and Wed-Fri 3:45–5:45pm, starting November 2026.

• Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Have a flexible approach to the position.
• Work well as part of a team and also under their own initiative.
• To be aware of Health and Safety and COSHH practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of cleaning tasks to maintain site cleanliness.
• Be punctual and dependable in attendance and performance.
• Follow Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Support the safeguarding of children in line with DBS requirements.
