Job summary

GI Group are recruiting Cleaners for our client based in Birmingham. You'll join a well-established onsite team, supporting the day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of the facility. This is a part-time, temporary role with hours 17:00 - 19:30, Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for cleaning labs, washrooms, offices, hallways and the cafeteria area, plus waste disposal and recycling, with duties including replenishing dispensers and maintaining supplies as required.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience in facilities or labs.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Reliable, punctual and proactive.

Responsibilities

• General upkeep of communal areas, including dusting and polishing fixtures/brass.
• Responding to requests for cleaning, waste removal and moving items in a timely manner.
• Completing periodic facility tasks, including stripping and waxing floors and cleaning air diffusers/exhaust grills.
• Maintaining external areas: removing debris, sweeping walkways, and cleaning the smoking area.
• Replenishing dispensers and supplies (e.g. paper products, soap, production garments).
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Any other duties as required.
