Job summary

Sodexo is looking for a reliable and proactive Evening Cleaner to join our team at the Catalent site in Swindon. This role covers the Swindon site during the evening shift from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week.

You will keep the site clean, safe and professional, follow Health & Safety, COSHH procedures, use PPE correctly, report faults, and contribute to high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a commercial, pharmaceutical, laboratory or similar environment.
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety and following site procedures.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on, can-do approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Flexible, proactive and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• A customer-focused approach with pride in delivering high standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across designated areas of the site.
• Use cleaning products, equipment and PPE safely and correctly.
• Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, hygiene, infection control and security procedures.
• Follow site cleaning methods, colour-coding requirements and task instructions.
• Report equipment faults, building defects and potential hazards promptly.
• Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
• Complete required training and support other reasonable cleaning tasks when needed.

About the Role

You’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment. Working across designated areas of the site, you’ll complete a range of cleaning tasks to agreed standards while following strict Health & Safety, hygiene, security and COSHH procedures.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
