Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence division is hiring a part-time Cleaner to join the cleaning and facilities teams, contracted to 20 hours per week.

As a Cleaner you will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitize areas, working evenings and supporting safe, hygienic environments for clients and customers. Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, and a flexible approach is valued.

Responsibilities

• Keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Mop up spillages quickly and efficiently when required.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

We\'re currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 20 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. Here\'s an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

• Mon: Evenings
• Tues: Evenings
• Weds: Evenings
• Thurs: Evenings
• Fri: Evenings
• Sat:
• Sun:

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
