Job summary

The Best Connection is urgently recruiting for a Class 1 (C+E) driver to join our client’s Radstock fleet for evening trunking shifts. Start times around 18:00 with immediate starts and weekly pay.

You will drive modern, well-maintained vehicles and be part of a supportive transport team, delivering reliable service and maintaining accurate records. Requirements include a valid Class 1 licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and at least 2 years of Class 1 driving experience, plus knowledge of

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in Class 1 driving min. 2 years.
• Knowledge of UK road networks and tachograph rules.
• Positive attitude and focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 (C+E) trunking.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and follow DVSA standards.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records.
• Communicate with transport planners and depot staff.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company.
