Job summary

De Montfort University is seeking a Cleaning Team Leader (PM) to oversee a team of cleaners, delivering high-quality cleaning across campus buildings. The role is part-time and sits within the Campus Services team.

The successful candidate will lead by example, ensure safety and hygiene standards, and provide excellent customer service to staff and students while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience and cleaning background.
• Strong COSHH and Health & Safety knowledge.
• Pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and a positive work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy with good communication skills.
• Willing to undertake training and development as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Cleaners to deliver cleaning services.
• Perform general and reactive cleaning tasks and assist with ceremonies/events.
• Ensure buildings are maintained to high cleanliness standards.
• Work in a fast-paced environment within a busy campus setting.
