Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a skilled butcher for a meat production facility in East Grinstead. The role involves cutting, boning, and preparing meat to strict production standards within a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring food safety and quality, operating band saws and mincers where trained, and maintaining hygiene throughout production. Training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat production or butchery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat to production standards.
• Boning and processing wholesale cuts into steaks, chops, roasts, and other products.
• Ensuring all products meet food safety, quality, and legal standards.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets and maintain stock levels.
• Supporting production changes and learning new skills as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
