Qualifications

• Several years' experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or a similarly analytical role.
• Strong track record of solving complex and ambiguous business challenges.
• Ability to structure problems, build evidence-based recommendations and translate data into clear actions.
• Strong experience developing financial models, commercial analyses and investment cases.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders and influencing decisions across stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
• Genuine interest in sustainability, electrification and the evolving EV charging industry.
• Comfortable working in agile teams, open to feedback and continuously looking for ways to improve.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical ideas clearly.
• Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn and passion for developing engineering craft.
• Legal right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and CFO to define, challenge and refine Pod's strategic priorities
• Evaluate growth opportunities, market entry options, business model evolution and long-term value creation
• Own strategic initiatives from start to finish
• Frame complex problems, conduct analysis and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and developments across the EV charging ecosystem
• Turn market insights into strategic recommendations
• Support pricing strategy, network expansion opportunities and potential partnerships
• Develop business cases and financial models for investment decisions, strategic partnerships, growth opportunities and relevant M&A activity
• Track strategic initiative performance after launch and recommend data-driven adjustments
• Connect insights across Finance, Product, Commercial and Operations teams
• Help define Pod's strategic direction, drive growth, influence key decisions and champion Pod's values
