Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is seeking an experienced mechanic at our Nottingham Motorstore to prepare customers' cars for the road. You will service, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles with pride, working in a collaborative team and keeping up-to-date with new technology.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• Able to work alone or as part of a busy team.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Must have a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Carry out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
• Road test vehicles to check repairs.
• Maintain equipment and ensure tools are in good condition.
• Follow checklists to ensure procedures are completed.
• Complete all documentation to the required standard.
