Job summary

Arnold Clark is recruiting an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Technician for our Kilbirnie Street Van Centre in Glasgow. You will service and repair commercial vehicles to manufacturer guidelines, including warranty work, while keeping customer satisfaction at the heart of everything you do.

The ideal candidate has at least two years’ automotive experience and a full UK driving licence. The role is full-time with set hours, and we offer a competitive salary (£40,000–£50,000 DOE) plus

Qualifications

• Two years' automotive technician experience required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Undertake repair and servicing of commercial vehicles.
• Analyse work orders and clarify required work with Service Advisor when needed.
• Document completed work orders and return warranty materials to the right departments.
• Perform repairs within timescales and per company procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to service/repair vehicles.
• Ensure correct parts are available for the job.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and report faults.
