Job summary

Original Talent Recruitment is seeking a Test Engineer to create and deliver design validation plans for powertrain EV machines. You will resolve failure modes and provide design input to ensure components meet product specs.

You will work in a small, autonomous team, managing your day-to-day workload and collaborating with test technicians to execute tests and drive SOPs for product quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or automotive engineering or equivalent design experience.
• Experience with test and calibration, ideally for electric machines.
• Environmental test experience, ideally for electric machines.

Responsibilities

• Definition, development, planning and implementation of tests for electric motors and electromechanical systems.
• Development of test requirements with DVP, 8D, and FMEA.
• Support build and commissioning of test systems and analysis of test data.
