Job summary
Stoneacre is seeking an MOT Motor Vehicle Technician to join a leading UK motor group. You will be responsible for MOT testing, servicing, repairs and maintenance, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
Training opportunities exist within manufacturer franchises, with clear paths to Senior and Master Technician status and EV technology advancement. The role includes in-house and manufacturer training, a supportive workshop environment, and a structured career path within Stoneacre’s
Qualifications
- Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Holder of MOT Testers Licence is essential.
- Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.
- Electric/Hybrid qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for MOT testing, servicing, repairs and maintenance.
- Work to franchise and company standards within scheduled times.
- Repair, test and diagnose faults on a range of vehicles.
- Replace components and lubricants and provide write-ups for customers.
- Keep the workshop clean and safe according to Health & Safety standards.
- Advise on faults and future servicing needs via Vehicle Health Check.
