Job summary

Stoneacre Motor Group in Northallerton is seeking a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician to inspect, service and repair vehicles, ensuring MOT readiness and roadworthiness. You will work across multiple manufacturer brands in a busy, modern workshop.

The role offers career progression from Technician to Senior/Master status with extensive manufacturer training, EV technology advancement and a competitive benefits package, including 30 days holiday pro rata and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive sector in a technical role.
• Qualified to Level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• MOT Testers Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair motor vehicles to meet franchise and manufacturer standards.
• Repair, test, diagnose faults and ensure vehicles are MOT-ready.
• Record maintenance work and keep the workspace clean and safe.
• Advise on servicing requirements and future work through Vehicle Health Check processes.
