Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician at a busy, reputable automotive dealership in Blackpool. The role promises structured training, modern facilities, and clear progression within a professional environment.

The ideal candidate will work to develop skills and contribute to a high-standards workshop. The position offers a competitive basic salary with bonus potential, and includes 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Engineering.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally with warranty/servicing exposure.
• MOT Licence is desirable; training offered for those without current certification.
• Enthusiasm to learn with manufacturer accreditation training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of vehicles, including diagnostics, warranty work, and repairs.
• Carrying out routine tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs).
• Completing accurate job cards and digital write-ups to ensure transparent communications and maintenance records.
• Supporting a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards as the Vehicle Technician.
• Contributing to a process-driven workshop focused on high-quality service delivery.
