Monday Matters Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a well-established main dealership in Bury St Edmunds to recruit a Vehicle Technician focused on electric and hybrid vehicles. You will deliver high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs using the latest tools and systems.

The role offers a competitive salary (£35-45k) with a performance-related bonus, ongoing EV training, and opportunities to work with cutting-edge EV technology within a modern workshop.

Qualifications

• Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience in a main dealer environment preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Interest in electric/hybrid vehicles.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles, with a focus on EVs and hybrids.
• Carry out advanced diagnostics using manufacturer-approved systems.
• Conduct health checks and identify potential issues accurately.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Keep up to date with the latest EV technologies and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
