Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Fleet Specialist Mechanic to join its repairs team in Northampton on an initial 3-month contract. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing, maintaining and repairing electric vehicles, with full training provided to develop practical skills.

You will work 8:30am to 4:30pm on-site at Northampton NN4, with weekend work on a rota basis. The role offers opportunities to grow practical expertise within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical/engineering experience required.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair electric vehicles.
• Support preparation and handling of new vehicle inventory.
• Carry out inspections and basic fault finding.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop.
