Job summary
Alexander James Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a field-based service engineer to service a client base across the North West, with a focus on electric vehicles, material handling equipment and related specialist machinery.
The role requires a full UK driving license and a proactive self-starter attitude, with opportunities for overtime and a competitive salary. The successful candidate will travel within the North West and occasionally stay away from home for site visits.
Qualifications
- Background in maintenance of electric vehicles or material handling is preferred.
- Full UK driving license is required.
- Willingness to travel across the North West and occasionally stay away from home.
Responsibilities
- Service a client base across the North West focusing on electric trucks, road vehicles, tuggers and related equipment.
- Carry out servicing and repairs on material handling & specialist equipment.
- Perform LOLER and thorough examinations.
- Maintain excellent customer service and represent the company appropriately.
- Attend workshops for meetings, training and parts collection.
- Travel wider as needed to support other technicians.
