Job summary

Multitask Personnel is seeking a Commercial Electrician – Solar & EV Charging in the East Midlands with regular travel and working away. The role focuses on safe, high‑quality installation, testing and commissioning of solar PV, inverters, battery storage and EV chargers in commercial settings.

You will support a growing renewable energy team delivering practical solutions for commercial customers across local and distant sites, with a company van, pension and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3
• Commercial Solar and EV installation experience
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Testing & Inspection)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• CSCS/ECS card
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Qualified to install Solar and EV

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage and EV chargers in commercial settings.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance on commercial projects.
• Travel to sites locally and further afield as required.

Specialising in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging point installations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation, testing, and commissioning of solar panels, inverters, battery storage, and EV chargers in commercial settings.

You will work on a range of projects both local and further afield so must be comfortable with travel and working away.

Essential

• NVQ Level 3
• Commercial Solar and EV experience
• City & Guilds 2391 or2394/2395(Testing & Inspection)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
