Job summary

Probe UK is seeking an experienced EV Field Service Engineer to diagnose and repair 40kW–600kW DC chargers across the UK. You will work with OCPP firmware, cloud systems and new product development while travelling to customer sites.

The role offers a hands-on path in one of the fastest-growing energy-tech sectors, with a 40-hour week, TOIL, and a benefits package; you must have 18th edition, 2391, ECS card, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' EV DC charging experience.
• 18th Edition.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• ECS Card.
• OCPP experience.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain AC & DC EV chargers across the UK.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Test and configure DC rapid chargers.
• Troubleshoot faults with customers and contractors.
• Test firmware, apps and cloud integrations.
• Provide technical feedback to R&D.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
