Job summary

Probe UK is seeking an EV Field Service Engineer to diagnose and repair high-powered DC EV chargers across the UK. The role involves hands-on maintenance, firmware testing, cloud integrations and direct customer interaction.

You will work with 40kW–600kW charging technology, enjoy a 40-hour week with TOIL, and travel nationwide from base in Mansfield. 18th Edition and ECS card are required, with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of EV DC charging experience.
• 18th Edition electrical qualification.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification or equivalent.
• ECS Card holder.
• Experience with OCPP standards.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain AC & DC EV chargers across the UK.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Test and configure DC rapid chargers.
• Troubleshoot faults with customers and contractors.
• Test firmware, apps and cloud integrations.
• Provide technical feedback to R&D.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
