Project Better Energy Ltd seeks a Product Manager Assistant – EV Products to support the management and development of our electric vehicle charging portfolio. You will help ensure products remain compliant, competitive, and market-ready by maintaining testing, certification, and compliance records while coordinating firmware version control.

The role offers on-site work at Burton-on-Trent with close collaboration across the EV Product Team and various stakeholders to drive product lifecycle

Qualifications

• Understanding of AC/DC EV charger technology.
• Familiarity with OCPP, OZEV/EV ChargePoint Grant, and ENA requirements.
• Strong organisational skills for managing documentation and logs.
• Detail-oriented with compliance paperwork and firmware tracking.
• Good communicator across technical, compliance, and commercial teams.
• On-site work at Burton on Trent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date product testing, certification, and compliance docs.
• Monitor certification approvals, renewals, and deadlines.
• Liaise with testing labs, certification bodies and suppliers.
• Keep technical and product records audit-ready.
• Manage firmware version control records across EV chargers.
• Track firmware releases, changes, and deployment status.
• Support coordination of firmware updates with manufacturers.
• Maintain product specs, datasheets, and user documentation.
• Provide admin support to the Product Manager for testing and issues.
