Envevo Ltd. is seeking a proactive CPMS Technical Support specialist to own the CPMS platform and EV charging network, diagnosing faults remotely and coordinating with field engineers and OEM partners. You will improve uptime and efficiency while driving automation and process improvements.

You will work with clients across the UK & Ireland, supporting onboarding of new charging sites and continuously refining workflows, reporting to support future team growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CPMS platforms, OCPP, OCPI or similar protocols.

• Automation, scripting or platform optimisation experience.

Responsabilités

• Take full ownership of the CPMS platform and associated EV charging infrastructure network.
• Monitor, manage, and optimise performance across the client EV estate to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve faults remotely through the CPMS system.
• Coordinate with planners and engineers for fault resolution.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex network issues.
• Provide guidance during reactive callouts and assist field engineers on-site as needed.
• Work with OEM partners to manage interoperability, firmware, configuration and integration.
• Develop, document, and improve operational processes and workflows.
• Analyse network performance data to proactively prevent faults.
• Support onboarding of new charging sites and clients into CPMS.
• Contribute to team structure, training, and capability as the estate grows.

The CPMS Technical Support will be highly motivated and proactive, taking ownership of our EV Charging Point Management System (CPMS) and wider fleet EV infrastructure estate. This is a key role within a rapidly growing organisation, offering the right candidate the autonomy to shape processes, systems, and future team development.

You will be accountable for ensuring optimum system uptime reliability, and efficiency of our EV charging network, acting as a technical lead between systems, clients, OEM partners, and engineering teams. While you will support reactive callouts when required, the primary focus of this role is to resolve issues remotely through intelligent system management, automation and providing diagnosis of faults and faults codes.

Job requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a technical support role.
• Strong track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues remotely.
• Experience working in operational or service-critical environments with uptime responsibility.
• Experience collaborating with field engineering teams and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid UK Driving License
• Flexibility in working hours and approach, an attitude to see a task through
• Experience working directly with OEMs or hardware manufacturers.
• Experience managing firmware, configuration, or interoperability across multiple OEM vendors.
• Experience with CPMS platforms, OCPP, OCPI, or similar protocols.
• Experience within EV charging, energy, utilities, or smart infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with automation, scripting, or platform optimisation.

Job responsibilities

• Work directly with OEM partners to manage interoperability, firmware, configuration, and platform integration.

• Support onboarding of new charging sites and clients into the CPMS environment.
• Contribute to future team structure, training, and capability as the estate grows.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder communication where required.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the network operations team to achieve organisational goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
