Job summary

Bury Council is seeking an experienced Electric Vehicle Project Manager to lead the rollout of EV charging infrastructure across the borough and develop Bury’s EV strategy.

You will manage procurement and contracts, identify and approve sites, and work with GMCA, TfGM, council teams, chargepoint providers and operators, utility providers, and community stakeholders to deliver high-quality chargepoint projects.

Qualifications

• Three+ years’ experience delivering significant EV charging projects.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Solid understanding of climate change, compliance, and health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of EV charging infrastructure across the borough.
• Develop EV strategy and manage procurement and contracts.
