Job summary

Nolan Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced EV Maintenance & Installation Engineer for a field-based role covering Surrey, Kent and surrounding areas. The role involves installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding of AC and DC EV charging equipment.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, EICRs, and support three-phase installations with UK-wide travel and occasional overnight stays. A Level 3 EV Charging qualification and a full UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

Experience installing and maintaining EV charging infrastructure (AC/DC).
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel UK-wide.
Level 3 EV Charging qualification (City & Guilds 2921-34, EAL, NICEIC or equivalent) desirable.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and valid ECS/CSCS card.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on three-phase systems.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on EV charging systems.
Install, test and commission commercial and domestic EV charging equipment.
Support larger installations involving three-phase supplies, containment and distribution.
Complete electrical inspections and testing, ensure compliance with standards.
Provide professional customer support and handovers on site.
Travel UK-wide with occasional overnight stays and maintain high safety standards.
