Perfect Placement in Bristol is seeking a skilled Bodyshop Technician to join a busy accident repair centre. You will work within a nationwide organisation, focusing on high standards of vehicle repair and customer service.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £59,800, paid breaks, extensive training, a modern workshop, and a clear path for career progression. A 50-hour week Mon-Fri with some Saturdays applies, with benefits outlined by the employer.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in automotive Panel Beating or MET preferred.
• IMI qualification desirable.
• Extensive experience with no formal qualifications will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Undertake replacement and repair of damaged bodywork panels
• Complete chassis and framework repairs to manufacturer standards
• Welding and panel bonding as required
• Bumper and door repairs
• Mechanical and electrical repair work to high standards
• Proven experience in replacing mechanical parts
• Confidently strip and refit vehicle components
• Assist with repairs involving EV and ADAS
• Work efficiently under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines
• Follow work instructions detailed on job cards, ensuring high-quality standards
• Support team members and multi-task during busy periods
