Job summary

ATC (part of Arvato) in the United Kingdom is seeking a Transport Planner to join a Europe-wide planning team. You will plan shipments, optimise routes, monitor performance, and liaise with clients, sub-contractors and internal teams to meet SLAs.

The role requires 3+ years in transport planning, experience in logistics, strong IT skills (Office 365, SharePoint), and good communication. Hybrid working (3 days in office) is provided, with a focus on regulatory compliance and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in transport planning (3+ years).
• Experience in logistics, including white glove services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Office 365 and Microsoft Office.
• Solid understanding of EU Working Time Directive and Digital Tachograph regulations.
• Working knowledge of a European language is an advantage.
• Experience with MS SharePoint in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan shipments and routes to optimise resource use while meeting SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with EU Working Time Directive and road safety regulations.
• Monitor shipments in transit and provide updates to colleagues and customers.
• Update milestones per SLA and coordinate with sub-contractors and offices.
• Liaise with clients, ATC operations, and field teams to maintain service levels.
• Assist with billing coordination with accounts and ensure accurate tracking.
