Job summary

TRS (Technical Recruitment Solutions) is partnering with a global air-conditioning manufacturer to recruit a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer for the West London area. This role is hybrid and involves supporting distributors across Europe with residential and commercial AC products, including splits and VRF systems, and collaborating with an international technical team.

The role requires 2–3 years of air-conditioning experience and strong AC product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of air-conditioning experience.
• Good technical understanding of AC equipment.
• Experience with manufacturers, distributors or HVAC specialists is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical enquiries from European distributors.
• Provide guidance on AC products and applications.
• Support new product introductions and development projects.
• Gather feedback and technical requirements from the European market.
• Work with R&D teams on product improvements and future products.
• Help create technical information and training materials.
• Support VRF selection software and other technical sales tools.
• Liaise with software developers and assist with testing.
• Coordinate product testing with external laboratories.
• Support projects from initial requirement through to completion.
