Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Install Engineer to join our European installation team in the UK. You will deploy PVD, Etch and CVD tools, install and validate systems at customer sites across the region, and ensure compliance with high standards of quality and safety.

You will collaborate with multicultural teams, travel frequently within Europe, document work, and communicate directly with customers to ensure satisfaction throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification such as NVQ, HNC or degree.
• Hands-on engineering experience in electrical and mechanical areas.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe (approx. 70%).

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-installation meetings to capture customer requirements and plan actions.
• Perform full system installations including alignment, calibration and verification.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and manage critical incidents across sites.
• Lead post-installation reviews to confirm tool performance and customer satisfaction.
• Deliver training on installations to global service teams.
