Job summary

myPOS is seeking a Payroll Manager to own end-to-end payroll across the United Kingdom, Ireland and multiple European countries, while driving governance, compliance and process improvements. You will oversee onboarding in Deel, manage cross-border payroll challenges and lead a payroll team in a fintech environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in payroll with international experience, strong knowledge of tax and labour laws, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in payroll with international multi-country scope.
• Experience across European jurisdictions incl. Italy, France and Germany; Bulgaria a plus.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax, statutory compliance and labour law interactions.
• Experience with Deel or global payroll platforms and with stabilising payroll operations after a system implementation.
• Leadership in payroll governance, controls and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Hold end-to-end payroll across the United Kingdom and multiple countries in scope.
• Ensure payroll is processed on time and in full compliance with local labour law and statutory requirements.
• Oversee onboarding of new hires in Deel ahead of first pay run.
• Maintain payroll governance, controls and documentation for audit-readiness.
• Coordinate with HR Operations and Deel to keep payroll data accurate and compliant.
• Lead and coach the payroll team to improve accuracy and efficiency.
