Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager for Europe (f/m/d). This remote role can be based anywhere in Europe and reports to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: digital marketing, content creation, product launches, analytics, measurement & optimization, demand generation, lead nurture, customer communications, change management, project and budget management, marketing communication planning and execution.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability and willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to the U.S. as required.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and implement annual marketing communications strategies for PT industries into a European activation plan with clear lead generation targets.
• Localize and extend the global marketing content strategy for European audiences, supporting target industry and thought leadership positioning.
• Serve as regional marcom expert for Europe, partnering with global Product Management and regional commercial teams; optimize campaigns with data-driven recommendations.
• Identify complex customer-facing issues in European markets and advise regional leadership; support customer communications.
• Participate in cross-functional teams within Ecolab to link communications across programs and optimize regional resources.
• Draft and adapt copy, select visuals, and plan for European trade shows to drive regional engagement.
• Identify Tier 1 and Tier 2 European shows; attend shows to stay ahead of regional trends and insights.
• Contribute to annual trade show planning; research regional events and propose options for inclusion in the global calendar.
• Write, adapt, and quality check copy for digital ads, trade show booths, social posts, and video scripts; ensure local language versions align with global messaging.
• Collaborate with Digital MarCom to leverage content placement for leads via regional search, paid social, and email campaigns.
• Research and pilot new marketing tactics for European audiences; share proven tactics with wider team.
• Ensure compliance with branding, legal, regulatory requirements, and region-specific data privacy standards.
• Track and report European campaign performance and lead generation; adjust regional activation as needed.
• Coordinate with regional agencies and translation partners to keep work on brand and schedule.
• Communicate effectively across time zones and cultures; support department and regional projects as required.
