Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• Proven experience analyzing light ends markets and related refinery streams.
• Strong understanding of European refining economics and arbitage dynamics.
• Experience building market balance models and forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead market analysis across European light ends markets.
• Develop and maintain supply, demand, inventory, and trade-flow models.
• Analyze refinery operations, yields, and feedstock optimization.
• Assess arbitrage flows and regional market implications.
• Monitor market regulations and evolving structures shaping light ends.
• Generate forward-looking market views using datasets and macro indicators.
• Collaborate with traders to identify opportunities and support decisions.
• Present market views and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop analytical tools and dashboards using SQL, Python, Excel and Power BI.
