An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join a rapidly expanding, global prop trading business.

The company has had exceptional performance in a short period and has established its US office with leading front and back office staff. Due to strong performance this year, they are seeking senior, specialist hires such as this.

The European Legal Counsel will lead their London office. The General Counsel is based in the US, so this role will have significant autonomy in legal processes, leading and supporting transactions, negotiating agreements, and advising on deal restructurings. There will also be opportunities to participate in wider projects.

This position is ideal for a Legal Counsel with 3-5 years’ PQE seeking to join a business with high growth potential. The preferred candidate will have experience from a buy-side business or Magic Circle Law firm, with knowledge of private equity / credit transactions. Experience with digital assets or crypto would be advantageous.
