Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join a rapidly expanding, global prop trading business.

They have had exceptional performance in a short space of time and have built out their US office with leading front and back office staff. With further strong performance already this year, they have an increased need for senior, specialist hires such as this.

They are looking for a European Legal Counsel to lead their London office. The General Counsel is based in the US, so this hire will have significant autonomy across the legal process here, leading and supporting transactions, negotiating agreements, and advising on deal restructurings. There will also be a number of wider projects you will be able to get involved in.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Counsel with 3-5 years’ PQE to join an exciting business with phenomenal growth potential. The ideal candidate will come from a buy-side business or Magic Circle Law firm, with experience with private equity / credit transactions. While they are multi-asset, they are expanding into crypto, so any exposure to digital assets would be beneficial.

My client has a strong budget for this position, ideally looking to pay up to £300k TC for the right candidate. There is potential for this to grow exponentially over the next few years.
