Job summary

Joshua Robert is seeking a European Insurance Manager to oversee the delivery of a cost-effective insurance service across a continental portfolio, combining technical insurance expertise with hands-on risk management.

Reporting to the Director of Treasury & Risk, the role will span placement, renewal, risk surveys, and liaison with brokers and insurers across multiple European jurisdictions, with travel across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in property insurance management across European jurisdictions.
• Ability to prepare insurance documentation for banking and lending.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the European portfolio.
• Knowledge of Lloyd's and London Market is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage placement and removal of insurance cover across European assets.
• Maintain accurate insurance records for all European properties.
• Verify sum insured data provided by valuers to avoid gaps.
• Provide insurance documents for bank financing and reports.
• Act as central liaison for claims with loss adjusters and insurers.
• Support annual renewal of European property insurance with brokers.
• Oversee onboarding of new European territories to the programme.
• Conduct risk surveys and tenant inspections with risk advisors.
• Advise European management on risk mitigation and track improvements.
• Engage with insurers on risk management for favorable premiums.
