Job Description:

YOUR ROLE

Our European Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy Financial Reporting Analyst to oversee regional financial reporting and business intelligence tool testing. You will ensure concise, timely, and accurate data outputs for our Air & Ocean teams.

This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, acting as a bridge between regional and in-country business controlling teams. We are seeking someone experienced in business intelligence and financial reporting, with the ability to build strong working relationships.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Retrieve and analyze data from legacy systems, building reports using BI tools.
• Create automated pathways for regular reports to optimize system capabilities.
• Work closely with IT teams on system updates and testing.
• Understand freight forwarding activities to interpret data outputs effectively.
• Act as the main contact for regional reporting issues, implementing improvements.
• Simplify reporting processes, mitigate risks, and reduce repetition.
• Create and review work instructions for reports, sharing documentation.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and reports as needed.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Successful candidates will have proven experience in data reporting and analytics, with knowledge of financial or accounting principles. You should be skilled in financial systems, BI tools, report automation, and dashboard creation. A problem-solving mindset and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Desirable but not essential: Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent.

This role is hybrid, based anywhere in the UK, with regular commuting to Ashby de la Zouch.
