Your Role

Our European Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a data-savvy Financial Reporting Analyst who will oversee regional financial reporting and business intelligence tool testing to ensure concise, timely, and accurate data outputs for our Air & Ocean teams.

This pivotal role involves collaborating with a wide network of internal stakeholders, acting as a bridge between regional and in-country business controlling teams. We are looking for an individual experienced in business intelligence and financial reporting, capable of building strong working relationships.

What You Will Do

• Retrieve and analyze data from legacy systems, creating reports using BI tools and system techniques.
• Develop automated pathways for regular reports to enhance system and tool capabilities.
• Build relationships with IT teams to stay informed about system updates and testing.
• Understand freight forwarding activities to interpret data outputs accurately.
• Serve as the main contact for regional reporting issues, implementing improvements.
• Streamline reporting processes and procedures to reduce risk and redundancy.
• Create and review work instructions for reports, centralizing documentation.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects or reports as needed.

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience in data reporting and analytics, with knowledge of financial or accounting principles, and the ability to interpret and present complex financial reports to diverse audiences.

Skills in financial systems and business intelligence tools, report automation, and dashboard creation are essential. A problem-solving mindset and stakeholder management skills across European teams are also required.

Desirable but not essential: Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent.

This role is hybrid and can be based anywhere in the UK with a regular commute to our Ashby de la Zouch head office two days a week.
