Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an accomplished Head of Portfolio Analytics & Consulting to shape its portfolio analytics and investment consulting across Europe. You will define the function’s strategy, priorities and service offering, and lead a team delivering high-quality portfolio insights and actionable recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in investment management or investment consulting.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams.
• Ability to define strategy, priorities, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for senior audiences.
• European language skills preferred for client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve Vanguard’s Portfolio Analytics & Consulting across Europe.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of analysts and consultants.
• Evolve service offerings using data, analytical tools, and technology to improve quality, scalability, and efficiency.
• Provide strategic portfolio insights and investment expertise to senior clients and prospects.
• Ensure high-quality analysis across asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk, performance, and investment products.
• Lead governance initiatives related to analytical frameworks and recommendations for senior management.
• Establish standards, governance and quality controls for methodologies and client deliverables.
• Foster collaboration across Investments, Product, Distribution, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Operations.
