Job summary

Guggenheim Securities in London is seeking an exceptional Associate to join its Financial Sponsors Group. The role provides exposure to private equity clients across the UK and Europe, with involvement in origination and execution of M&A mandates.

You'll work closely with senior bankers, contribute to financial modeling, due diligence, and client presentations, and develop origination skills in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of investment banking or equivalent M&A experience.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with ability to interact with senior executives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client presentations and interact with senior bankers and clients.
• Develop and monitor complex financial models for M&A scenarios.
• Draft documents including management presentations and fairness opinions.
• Conduct due diligence and prepare information memoranda.
• Support business development with strategic frameworks and research.
• Analyze market trends and contribute to deal origination.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to execute transactions.
