Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management in London is seeking an Associate in the Global Client Group to help design and execute fundraising plans across Europe. The role reports to a VP/SVP in the Regional Management team and collaborates with the Investor Relations, Legal, Finance and other groups to drive regional fundraising initiatives.

You will manage end-to-end fundraising activities, monitor momentum, and develop regional plans with Diligence Management, Marketing & Content, and Product Specialists.

Qualifications

• Post graduate degree in finance, business management or another relevant discipline.
• Experience in fundraising for private fund strategies, especially in Europe.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement fundraising strategy across the Europe region.
• Proactively monitor and adapt strategy as circumstances change.
• Facilitate key fundraising decisions with stakeholders.
• Review materials to ensure market messaging is appropriate for Europe.
• Collaborate with global client group and business units.
• Identify issues and proactively manage risk.
• Report on impact of fundraising initiatives with relevant KPIs.
