Job summary

StepStone Group is seeking an Analyst to contribute across the European private equity secondary deal process. You will source, screen and conduct due diligence on investments, interact with managers for asset insights, build financial models and prepare memos for investment committees. Travel for onsite diligence and sponsor meetings may be involved.

You will work in a collaborative, global team environment with exposure to all firm levels, from Analysts to Partners, in a hybrid London setting.

Qualifications

• Stellar academic record (university and GPA).
• 1-2 years of private equity, top-tier investment banking and/or consulting experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, screening and due diligence on European private equity secondary investments.
• Interact with management teams and fund managers for asset and portfolio analysis.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and financial modelling.
• Prepare due diligence materials and investment committee memos.
• Communicate investment opinions clearly in writing and verbally; defend positions in team settings; support deal closing and post-close monitoring.
